The Lease Negotiator

Hey I.S.-- Byte This

Computers are more than revolutionary, they are evolutionary. Who cares about atoms, much of today's world is made up of little 1's and 0's, called bytes. Information Services (I.S.) has done wonders with data. Nevertheless, here's my problem. As a Lease Negotiator, I receive data from the sales agent in the form of a lease order. When I am done with my role, I send data to billings, in the form of what I call a lease analysis. In between, however, I deal with text, not data.

I have seen some slick lease tracking systems, but they all require the extra work of manually updating the data whenever I change the text of a lease.  They are only as current as the manual input. Quite frankly, rather than lease tracking systems helping me be more efficient, they are sidetracking my resources to manually update data caused by changes to text. Why can't a system be automatically updated based on my text revisions? I have to add the bytes to the computer. Why doesn't the computer just byte me?
